Hi doctor,

Thank you for your reply,

I do not have any history of herpes, no burning or tingling sensation, fever and when the blister pops, the fluid comes out.

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Thank you for your query,

The most likely diagnosis is infective lesion. The viral or parasitic with secondary bacterial infection could be the cause.

I suggest you to apply Mupirocin cream twice daily for ten days and also apply Acyclovir ointment three to four times daily for ten days.

  1. Take one tablet of Albendazole 400 mg immediately or two tablets of Stromectol 12 mg once in a week for two weeks.
  2. Take antioxidant capsules once daily after breakfast for ten days.
  3. Use Ketoconazole and Cetrimide soap for bath for one month.
  4. Clean the area with Povidone iodine and cotton gauze daily for ten days.
  5. Always apply cream with clean hands.
  6. Maintain proper hygiene.
  7. Avoid scratching and rubbing the lesion.
  8. Avoid friction.
  9. Avoid injury or trauma.
  10. Avoid popping or pricking lesion.
  11. I suggest you to get a routine blood examination done.
  12. Keep check on blood sugar levels.

Please follow up for further assistances.

Thank you.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank you for your reply,

The lesion is also on the arms. Is it still a bacterial infection?

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Thank you for your query,

According to the report which is attached with this query (attachment removed to protect the patient's identity) which seems like it is resolving. Do not worry and stay calm. Also, avoid the stress. I suggest you to apply the combination of Betamethasone and Fusidic acid cream in night for seven days on the arm lesions and also, avoid scratching as it may cause secondary bacterial infection.

Please follow up for further assistances.

Thank you.
