Common "Skin Sensitivity" queries answered by top doctors | iCliniq

Skin Sensitivity

Skin sensitivity is when the skin is prone to adverse and allergic skin reactions and lesions to potential triggers. Usually, these triggers do not induce any reaction in normal skin. Some skin sensitivity reactions are contact dermatitis, atopic eczema, rosacea, burning sensation of the skin, dry and flaky skin, etc. Such skin becomes red and itchy when exposed to triggers. Moisturizers, hypoallergenic skin lotion, gel, oatmeal lotion, skin-friendly sunscreen, etc., can help.
