Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

My 2-year-old son has been battling an ear infection for a couple of weeks now. It is finally better, but now I believe something is going on with his adenoids, or he has sleep apnea. He stops breathing while he sleeps at night, jumps in his sleep, constantly moves, and hardly sleeps because of it. He also snores very loudly and breathes out of his mouth. However, he is not stuffy, and his pediatrician said his lungs sound perfect. Also, during the day, he is more fussy than normal, wants to be held a lot, and is tired and weak-eyed. We ran a humidifier at night, and he had tubes placed in his ears.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

To improve his immunity,

  1. Stop milk from 8 am to 8 pm. Instead, mother milk is preferable. If not, give high-quality milk without water and add sugar as per your taste.
  2. Give semisolid diet (Indian food varieties) like dal (lentils), dalia (porridge) khichdi, alu (potato), kela (banana), rice, apple, upma, halwa, patoliya, rab, kadi, idly, poha, satu, custard.

To start with, stop milk for four hours for 15 days and give a semisolid diet. Next 15 days, stop the milk for eight hours and give a semisolid diet. Lastly, stop the milk from 8 am to 8 pm and give a semisolid diet.

To your knowledge, 3.33 fl oz of milk gives 70 calories of energy, 3.33 fl oz of juice gives 55 calories of energy, and 3.57 oz of semisolid diet gives 350 calories of energy.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
