Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have not slept since my surgery. I got sweating, hallucination, feeling hot and cold, irregular periods, vivid dreams, urinary incontinence, paranoia, and panic attacks immediately after surgery. I am taking tablet Invega 3 mg and Diazepam as needed. Previously I took CBD oil for the same. I had all my blood tests, urine test, MRI, and neuropsychological assessment.

Please help.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Thanks for the response.

I had surgery to remove the ovarian cyst two months back. I do not eat much and do not feel sleepy at all. I have akathisia. If I do sleep, it is not refreshing in the morning. It feels like the same day every day. I am taking the tablet Invega since last week. I have trouble thinking and planning. I cannot follow the days or weeks.

No diagnosis was made yet. One of the doctor said this condition was schizophrenia, and the other one said functional neurological symptoms.

Thanks.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

You gave minimal information.

You have mentioned many medical terms like hallucinations, akathisia, paranoia, and panic attacks but did not describe them.

As per your description, there may be a possibility of some underlying psychological or mood-related problem. I would suggest you consult a psychiatrist and neurologist physically as a detailed physical examination and psychoanalysis along with some investigations may also be required.

Thanks.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
