Hello doctor,
It has been almost two weeks of enduring this foul, bad taste and smell, and it is like something is stuck on my throat, but I cannot see it.

I can understand your concern. Throat discomfort, bad smell, and altered taste may be due to pharyngitis, sinusitis, tonsillitis, postnasal discharge, or allergy. So until the examination is done, it is difficult to say what it is. 1. Use tablet Amoxiclav 625 mg twice a day. 2. Get an X-ray PNS (Para-Nasal Sinus) and an ENT (ear, nose, and throat) consultation. 3. Do salt water gargling thrice a day for five days. Avoid cool drinks and ice-creams. Please review with reports or consult with your physician, who will examine and treat you accordingly. Take care.
