Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

I never shared my thoughts with others. But I want to share my feelings. If I can contact you through phone consultation, I will be able to explain in detail.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I would like to give you a brief of the scenarios in which such a condition may arise:

1. Introvert personality which you may wish to change with changing times.

2. Social anxiety which does not allow you to express yourself adequately.

3. Generalized anxiety where mind is always so occupied with unqualified thoughts that, your thoughts/ emotions do not get a chance of being expressed at priority.

The approach to each of these scenarios is different. If the inability to express is hampering day to day life and also giving you symptoms physically, medications may be needed. If not, you shall best be treated by counseling, wherein your thoughts, feelings, and emotional expression can be guided and helped to be expressed.

Ideally, both approaches should be preferred in an in-person consultation in a clinic. Online consultation may only be taken as guidance.

If you are unable to physically reach out to a psychiatrist or counselor, at least start pouring out your emotions by writing a diary daily, coloring complex figures, drawing, and painting, playing a musical instrument, learning a dance form that suits your liking.

I hope this helps.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
