Splinting

Dental splinting is a procedure where the teeth are joined together using a thin fiber-reinforced wire to increase their stability. It is often done to tighten up loose front teeth that occurred after injury. It is done by using composite material for attaching the loose teeth to the adjacent stable tooth.
