Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I noticed two blood spots during my first month of pregnancy. I have a menstrual cycle of 27 to 28 days. I even confirmed the pregnancy with a pregnancy test kit. But now I am worried. What could be the possibility?

Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I went through your query and understood your concern.

Bleeding during pregnancy can be caused by various factors and is not always an indicator of a serious problem, but it is important to evaluate it. Some common causes of bleeding in early pregnancy include implantation bleeding, a cervical or vaginal infection, a cervical or vaginal injury, or molar pregnancy. In some cases, bleeding can signify a more serious problem, such as a threatened miscarriage or an ectopic pregnancy. So, I suggest you visit a specialist doctor as soon as possible to determine the cause of your bleeding and to receive proper care. Your doctor may perform a pelvic exam, an ultrasound, or other tests to determine the cause of the bleeding and monitor your pregnancy health.

I also suggest you avoid strenuous activities, sexual intercourse, and tampons. Take rest as much as possible. If you experience severe abdominal pain, heavy bleeding, or any other concerning symptoms, seek medical attention immediately.

I hope this has helped you.

Thanks and regards.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
