Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have had black spots in the inner portion of my teeth for the past two years. I consulted a dentist and removed the black stains last year. But now it is spreading again. I brush twice daily and maintain oral hygiene. My cousins also have the same issue, but they are not bothered. But I am losing confidence to smile. Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Sometimes our saliva and breath have too much chromogenic bacteria, which stains the teeth. Follow the below steps;

1. Brush twice daily after food. Make sure you reach all the tooth surfaces while brushing.

2. Use an anti-stain mouthwash daily before sleep.

3. Avoid sodas, tea, and coffee.

4. Avoid smoking

5. Avoid ayurvedic medicines as much as possible.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
