Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

My mother is 58 years old with a weight of 50 kilograms and a height of five feet. She is suffering from a stomach tumor for more than 20 years. Before 13 years, she suffered from brain stroke due to a clot formed in the brain. She is diabetic and hypertensive. She is taking continuous medication for it. Currently, she is taking Ecosprin 150 mg, capsule Gemcol DS, tablet Glide 5 mg, tablet Volix 0.3 mg, tablet Cobadex CZS, tablet Storvas 10 mg, tablet Covance 50 mg, and tablet Eslo 2.5 mg. Nowadays, she is suffering from other problems too. Sometimes, she has a mild fever and it comes usually in the evening. She is suffering from pain in the waist. It originates from the backside of the waist and comes in front. She is suffering from pain on the right side of the face especially on the right side of the forehead. She has heaviness in her stomach. Sometimes, she suffers from pain in the stomach near the navel. Her stomach does not get clear in the morning. She has pain in the bone on the right side of the forehead. What to do?

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

She is suffering from constipation and she needs to take fiber-rich food. She needs to test her thyroid. Her pain mainly occurs due to disc problems. She needs to take an X-ray spine. For heaviness and abdominal discomfort, she needs to take prokinetics and proton pump inhibitors.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

What is the reason for having a fever? What to do? Her fever ranges from 99 to 102 Fahrenheit. It usually comes in the evening and becomes normal on the next day. Kindly suggest medicine.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Her blood pressure is high and she needs to avoid taking salt in her diet. She needs to take less than 5 grams of salt per day. If she has a persistent fever for more than two weeks and weight loss of more than ten percent of body weight, then it can be tuberculosis. If the fever is less than two weeks without cough or weight loss in the last six months, then there is nothing to be worried. You can have a follow-up with the daily temperature and have a follow-up after two weeks. She can take Paracetamol 500 mg for fever and she can take two to three tablets a day.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
