Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have been experiencing intense stomach or back or abdomen pain. Each “episode” gets worse and worse. It goes all up my back, and my stomach feels like it is being squeezed or suffocated. When I stand up, there is pressure pushing down from the top of my stomach. I am nauseous and tired, and I feel like I cannot move an inch because it makes it worse. Heat, Cold, Advil, and Tylenol do not do anything to help. An emergency room doctor gave me Ranitidine, but that did not have any effect at all. I am a 19-year-old female. I am 5 feet 2 inches in height and weigh 202.82 pounds.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

From what you mentioned, you most probably have gastritis or peptic ulcer in your stomach, which is caused by a disturbance in stomach acidity.

Provide me with some details:

  1. Do you use a lot of painkillers like Ibuprofen?
  2. Is it worse or better after taking meals?
  3. Have you noticed any change in the stool color?
  4. Has it been partially relieved after taking Ranitidine?

In case your diagnosis is confirmed. Some medications that you take regularly will help a lot. It is my honor to follow up on your case till you improve.

Waiting for your response soon.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
