Surgery For Neck Or Low Back Pain

Surgery for neck or low back pain is recommended if the non-surgical treatment given for 6 to 12 weeks does not pave off; however, it is ultimately the decision of the patient to opt for the surgery. Decompression surgery is done to relieve lower back pain caused by nerve pinching, which releases nerve root compression. It is of two types, namely microdiscectomy and laminectomy.
