Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have mild swelling in my left ankle. The swelling went away at night, and when I started walking again in the morning, there was swelling. I have no diabetic problem. l have some problems with low blood pressure, but sometimes it is high. What is the cause of the swelling of my left ankle?

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern and will try to help you resolve your problems.

I saw the photo of the swelling (the attachment is hidden to protect the patient's identity). You might be having a ligament tear. Have you had any trivial trauma before? I suggest you get an X-ray of the foot to rule out any pathological condition. If nothing is there, then kindly get a biopsy done to rule out if it is a lipoma or something.

Kindly get back to us with reports for further treatment.

I hope this information helps you sort out your problems.

Warm regards.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
