Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I had sex with a sex worker a week ago, we used a condom but it broke, twice. The first time I felt it and immediately pulled out, the second time I did not notice when it broke but the worker said that she noticed and so she pulled my penis out. Then we stopped the sexual act after that. Yesterday I started to feel that one of my testicles was swollen it does not hurt, but it does make me uncomfortable sitting because of its size, then I started reading that it might be gonorrhea or chlamydia. What do you recommend that I do? Are my chances of getting an STD or HIV high?

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Thank you for your query.

I understand your concern. Testicle swelling has a lot of causes such as tight-fitting undergarments, an unknown injury that might not be noticed, and driving a bike or car for a long time. So go to a general surgeon to consult the part of the testicle locally. Till then put a guard so the testicles do not hang.

  1. Take tablet Signoflam (Aceclofenac, Paracetamol and Serratiopeptidase) two times a day after food for three to five days.
  2. Take a capsule Doxycycline 100 mg for seven days.
  3. Avoid alcohol and spicy food.
  4. I hope this has helped you. Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
