Can I use tablet Modula for my high blood pressure?

Hi doctor,

I have had been taking tablet Modula 5 mg for my erectile dysfunctional problem for the past six years. I am not taking it every day, but I used to take it whenever I am about to have sex with my wife about two to three times a month, one tablet at a time, and it is beneficial for my erectile problems. So I would like to know whether taking tablet Modula about two to three times monthly for a long time would have any side effects or will be fine. Secondly, it is learned that the tablet Modula is suitable for treating high blood pressure too. So, I would like to know whether I can use it for my high blood pressure since I have slightly high blood pressure. If possible, kindly advise the required dosage for me to take. Please help.

No need to worry. You can use the medication for the long term. It can also be used for increased blood pressure, but it is not a very good blood pressure-reducing medication. It is commonly used for pulmonary hypertension, which is the high pressure in the lungs, so I suggest you cannot use this medication for blood pressure. For reducing blood pressure, I suggest you take tablet Amlong 5 mg (Amlodipine 5 mg). Please share your blood pressure. I will suggest medications.

I understand your concern.

It will only give you temporary solution , it would not cure erection issue, I suggest you to take the medication 5 mg once at night for 30 days. If you want to use when needed I suggest you to take 10 mg 30 minutes before sex.
