Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am 21-years-old, and I am suffering from left testicular pain for more than a year. There is no redness or swelling. I went to a urologist and did a doppler ultrasound, ultrasound of pelvis and abdomen, and urine analysis. Everything was normal, and the doctor prescribed me antibiotics. Till now, I took a lot of antibiotics, but I still have had the pain for more than a year. The pain is associated with lower back pain to the same side as testicular pain (left side). What might be the cause of this pain? Could this pain mean permanent testicular damage and affect my sexual life? I masturbate six times a week. Could the pain be associated with masturbation?

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I hope you are doing well. The pain should not be related to testicular damage, and it will not affect your sex life. You should try scrotal support once and see whether the pain is getting released or not. I advise you to take a break from masturbation for a couple of weeks to see the relation with testicular pain. Most of the time, this kind of pain is neurogenic in origin rather than associated with any obvious pathology, so I recommend you to take capsule Meconerv forte (Benfothiamine, Mecobalamin, Alpha-Lipoic Acid, Pyridoxine, Folic acid, Inositol) once daily for one month.

Regards.
