Throat ulcers can be due to microbial infection, cancer chemo or radiotherapy, Behcet's syndrome, etc. Throat ulcers can be accompanied by chest pain, heartburn, mouth ulcers, growth in the neck, dysphagia, etc. Infection, smoking, acid reflux, and excessive oral medications can increase the risk of throat ulcers.
