Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have been suffering from Tinea cruris for the last four years. I have visited dermatologists many times they prescribed different oral and topical antifungals over four years, including Fluconazole, Itraconazole, Terbinafine, etc. The symptoms were minimized, and I reoccurred soon after I stopped the medication. I also maintain personal hygiene and have no other medical condition.

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Thank you for your query.

Well, you have been taking enough precautions and treatment. Sometimes it becomes chronic if there is underlying diabetes. So get your fasting blood sugar levels evaluated. I suggest you to take the tablet Terbinafine 250 mg once daily for six weeks and apply Clotrimazole cream twice daily. Kindly consult a specialist, talk to them and take medications with their consent.

I hope this has helped you. Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
