Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have a small red spot since last two days, and I am very worried. Kindly tell me what it is.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

What is the complaint in it? Is the size increasing?

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

No, it is not increasing in size at all.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Also, please let me know the symptoms or complaints about it, like burning, itching or pain?

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

There is a little itching but no burning or pain. I am just scared and worried. Can you please see what it is?

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

It looks like initial stages of tinea cruris or scrotal dermatitis (attachment removed to protect patient identity). Use Luliconazole cream twice daily for 10 days.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

Please tell me whether it looks like herpes.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Is there any recent history of unsafe sexual exposure?

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

I have always had protected sex with a condom.

Hi,

Welcome back to iclinq.com.

Then, there is no chance of it being herpes. Herpes always presents with grouped fluid-filled vesicles along with the chief complaint of burning.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
