Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

My vagina has been tingling, hurting, and feeling irritated. I used to masturbate vigorously through clothes almost every day. I used to wear tight underwear, shorts, and jeans, which have contributed to this pain. I am worried that I have caused nerve damage to this area or caused it to have an infection. I do not want to take medication for this. Is this normal? Should I worry about this? And what should I do? Can I still masturbate, but less intensely?

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Thank you for your query.

I understand your concern. I have a few questions for you.

  1. Any redness over the vaginal region on the lateral side (bruises).
  2. Any burning sensation during urination?
  3. Any white discharge or brown vaginal discharge?
  4. Any history of intercourse?
  5. As of now, you can use topical lubricants for itching.

I suggest using Lidocaine gel to apply over the vaginal wall. Avoid using hot water.

I hope this has helped you. Thank you.
