Tongue Injury

Tongue injury occurs due to trauma to the tongue, which can occur accidentally while eating, sleeping, stress, seizure, and sports. Small injuries do not require any medical treatment. But if the tongue bleeds excessively with pain, then it is necessary to consult a doctor immediately. Applying cold compress helps a lot. Taking Acetaminophen or Ibuprofen helps to provide some relief from pain and swelling.
