Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Thanks for writing in, and I understand your concern.

If the cut is small and the bleeding has already stopped, there is nothing to worry about. It should heal within the next week. I suggest applying a topical anesthetic gel like Orajel (benzocaine topical) for pain relief. Apply a dab of gel over the concerned area with a clean fingertip or bud. Wait for three minutes. Do not swallow saliva in the meantime. Wipe the gel off and rinse her mouth with water after three minutes. It can be done three to four times a day as required. Avoid hot and spicy foods till this heals completely. Place an ice cube gently over the cut to arrest bleeding. If it is deep and severe, she will need a clinical examination and further management by a dentist.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
