Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have a visible cavity in my front teeth. It is present between two teeth. I got sudden aches with sensitivity in my front teeth. I have this issue for more than a year. I have sensitivity with gum redness rarely.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have gone through your query and attached the image (attachment removed to protect patient identity). Your teeth seem to be in pretty bad shape. You have a cavity between your left upper central incisor and lateral incisor. So this is causing discomfort in you. You have caries due to the position of the upper left central incisor and it is not straight. Redness of gingiva with foul breath occurs due to gingivitis. You need to do root canal treatment for the right central incisor and lateral incisor depending on the X-ray. You need to do scaling for inflamed gums. You can use Betadine mouth wash in lukewarm water. You can take tablet Clavum 625 mg (Amoxicillin with Clavulanic acid) one tablet twice a day for five days. Take tablet Zerodol SP (Aceclofenac with Paracetamol and Serratiopeptidase) twice a day for five days. You can take capsule Pan D (Pantoprazole) before meals for five days.

Investigations to be done

You need to do an intraoral X-ray of the upper left central and lateral incisor.

Treatment plan

You need to do RCT (root canal treatment) depending upon the X-ray.

Preventive measures

Avoid taking sticky or sweet food or cold food.

Regarding follow up

Have a follow-up after seven days.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
