What happens if the tooth root is located close to the sinus?

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Can you please read my dental X-ray? Also, I need to extract the tooth root, but it is very close to the sinus.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Yes, your X-ray (attachments removed to protect the patient's identity) says your teeth are treated. There are gaps between teeth because they are extracted. And also, you need to remove the root. So if you go for a treatment, make sure you replace missing teeth so that your other treated teeth do not shift themselves. And also remove the root to prevent further infection. The sinus will not cause any problem if done by an expert.

Regards.
