Hello doctor,
I am 21 years old, and I have an impacted wisdom tooth that is causing me excruciating pain. My face is slightly swollen and I have not been able to eat or sleep for the past three days, my jaw is locked and I cannot open my mouth. I have taken medications but nothing helped.

The infection you are experiencing currently is that of the wisdom tooth wherein there's no space left for it to erupt and that pressure constricts in the blood vessels. I suggest you try nonsurgical home remedies first along with the antibiotic therapy till you get the extraction done. Did you get any other dental procedures lately or ever been to a dentist before? Also any other medications or medical history?
