Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a 25-year-old male, and since the age of ten, I have had mouth issues. I have been to a dentist and an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, and both said that my teeth are fine, but I have had issues with my mouth and teeth all my life. They hurt, and I want them all to be removed. What should I do as no one is listening to me?

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

According to you, all of your teeth are causing some pain. I advise you to take an orthopantomogram (OPG). Verify for any dental caries, abscess, periodontal issues, cyst, or other infection. In case of any infection or dental caries, go for that treatment of the same instead of extraction. I also advise you to check for malocclusion, if any, because this may cause temporomandibular joint disease radiating to the teeth. I advise you to have a good sleep for one week, take proper food, and check for temporomandibular problems and malocclusion. Regarding extraction, at your age, a replacement can be done even using implants. But natural teeth are better when compared to artificial teeth. If there are any issues in your teeth or if they are any infections, then you can consider extraction. Get back to me with the orthopantomogram so that I can help you find a solution.

Thank you.
