Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I broke a filling and had persistent tooth pain that did not allow me to sleep. Shall I take the filling out by myself?

Answered by Dr. Purva Jingar

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and can understand your concern.

Do not worry.

  1. I suggest taking painkillers, such as Paracetamol, Ibuprofen, and Ketorol-DT. However, please consult the dentist, discuss with them and start taking the medications with their consent.
  2. Rinse mouth with salt water and turmeric mixture twice a day.
  3. Maintain oral hygiene properly and use mouthwash after brushing twice a day.

I hope this helps.

Thank you and take care.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
