Hello doctor,

I have pain in my front lower teeth. The pain is on the root of the three lower front teeth. I had done RCT on two of them and put a cap one month ago. I think I have a tooth infection, which is the reason for the pain. I need some medications for the infections as I cannot visit the dentist immediately. Please suggest painkillers or some medicines to reduce the infection.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.

I have read your query and understand your concern.

In such a situation, I would like to tell you that you can take medication for pain and infection, which your dentist prescribed after root canal treatment, as they will help. Ketorol DT (Ketorolac Tromethamine) is a good pain killer for relief. You can consult a specialist doctor and take medications with their consent.

Thank you.
