Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

The sensitivity of my tooth has been disturbing me a lot for a month. I can not even open my mouth to laugh. When the normal breeze touches my teeth, I get a jabbing, shock-like pain. I have already bought a sensitivity toothpaste. How should I use it? Should I rub it over my teeth and sit for a few minutes, or should I brush my teeth with the paste? What should I do and for how many times and days? Please suggest.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Yes, you should run the toothpaste over the most sensitive areas, wait for 5 to 10 minutes and then use the toothpaste to brush normally all the teeth. It is better to see a dentist and check if these oversensitive teeth need restoration.

Thank you.
