Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have been having pain inside my mouth. At the top of my mouth, it is like a bubble and so painful. The nerves are making me having a toothache on the right side of my mouth. I have had this for three days now and took a few painkillers. Now, my stomach hurts like bloating and twitching. I had a few pins and needles in my right arm. It is just now going away. Please help.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com. It seems you have developed gastritis due to painkiller use. To manage this, avoid consuming spicy, fatty, and oily foods. After meals, engage in a short walk instead of resting and consider opting for multiple small meals rather than heavy ones. If you smoke or consume alcohol, it's advisable to abstain. You can consult your doctor for a prescription of tablet Pan DSR 40 mg (Domperidone and Pantoprazole) to be taken before breakfast once a day for a week. Additionally, tablet Dicyclomine 20 mg can be taken up to three times a day, as needed, to alleviate twisting and pain.

If you're experiencing toothache, you can try a local anesthetic toothpaste like Sensodyne, particularly if the issue is sensitivity.-related. Painkillers can be taken along with the suggested antacid. Consider getting an oral checkup done to address the toothache.

Regarding the sensation of pins and needles, observation may be sufficient, or you could opt for tablet Neurobion forte once a day, which contains nerve vitamins. Your health is of utmost importance, and these measures can contribute positively to your well-being.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
