Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have pain in the tooth, both upper and lower and it is fluctuating for the last five days.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Your right upper last wisdom tooth is erupting in a bit of horizontal pattern and hitting the second last tooth and has caused infection in it (attachment removed to protect patient identity). You might need extraction of upper right wisdom and root canal treatment of upper second last tooth. Moreover, there is some gum disease also called periodontitis. It is causing bone loss in the anterior segment of your teeth and this could be healed up to some extent through scaling treatment. Get an appointment for it as soon as possible. Once treatment gets started, do one course of antibiotics as well, that will help along with treatment. Keep doing salt rinses and take painkiller three times a day at every eight hours for three days. Good luck with the treatment. Stay happy and blessed.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
