Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have a toothache. Maybe swelling results due to decay in the middle portion of the tooth, and it is fully painful. It is really out of control. The tooth position is 7, 8, and at the end of the neck series. 03 tooth is affected the most. I think it is infected by bacteria.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

There are many caries and infections in your oral cavity resulting in pain and swelling. For now, I would suggest you make a dental appointment for today itself and get a full mouth x-ray done. Kindly send the x-ray report to us, and we shall explain the treatment plan in detail further. Meanwhile, you can do salt and warm water mouth rinses five to six times back to back, or honey and warm water. Take anti-inflammatory if required - Ibuprofen. If you have or the pain is getting intolerable, you can take Paracetamol. Kindly maintain good oral hygiene, brush twice daily, and regular mouth rinses, especially after every meal. For now, I will not suggest much medication without seeing an x-ray. Revert with an x-ray report and allergies to any medication and current medication if you take any medicine.

I hope I am clear to you. Keep me posted about the changes. Take care.
