Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am on no medications other than Neurofen and Panadol. I got tested my reflexes, balance, ears, optical nerve, bloods, blood pressure, strength, temperature and all came back good. I am experiencing the intermittent short feeling.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Please try to provide more information on your concern. I cannot understand your complaints.

You are experiencing short....? Headache, or dizziness, or tingling? What is the location? How long seconds, or minutes, or hours? What is your past medical history? When did you start experiencing these symptoms?

I remain at your disposal for any further questions whenever you need it.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

I am experiencing short sharp pains radiating in the head when I move my head up and down and when leaning forward. I also experience less intense sensations in my head that make me feel unbalanced, which is more frequent than the sharp pains and occurs any time even when walking around.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Your symptoms are suggestive of trigeminal or occipital neuralgia, which is cranial nerve pain. Where is the pain located?

If it is located in the back of the head, it is probably occipital neuralgia. If it is located in the face and in the lateral part of the head, it is probably trigeminal neuralgia.

In case of back head pain, I would recommend treatment with Gabapentin and performing a cervical spine x-ray study.

In case of face and lateral headache, I would recommend treatment with Carbamazepine and performing a brain MRI (magnetic resonance imaging).

I hope this helps.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
