HomeAnswersEndocrinologytsh levelPlease check my thyroid test report, where TSH is slightly high, but I do not have any symptoms.

What could be the reason for slightly high TSH in blood without any symptoms?

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I did a thyroid test after consulting my gynecologist. I do not have any symptoms or taking any medications. Please check the report.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I just read your query, and from what you have attached (attachments removed to protect the patient's identity), it appears that you have slightly high TSH, and there is no need for treatment at this level of TSH. You need a regular three-month thyroid function test to see whether there is a further increase in TSH levels or not.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Thank you for the reply.

Should I follow any diet or make any changes to decrease the TSH level? Can you tell me how I can avoid further increases?

Answered by Dr. Shaikh Sadaf

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

There is no such diet to lower it. However, good sleep and less stress do help.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
