Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Four months ago, I was diagnosed with typhoid and UTI. My Widal test showed S.typhi O 1: 40 and S.typhi H 1:320. My blood count keeps reducing even though I am eating well. I have back pain, incomplete bladder emptying, dark urine, sometimes vaginal pain, and a little itch. I also have anal pain once in a while. I am almost dehydrated all the time and have high temperatures once in a while. I had sex with my guy three months before my typhoid and UTI. I was given Ciprofloxacin, which I took for two weeks. Also, I took some herbal medicine. But, I feel dizzy when I take any medication including raw garlic. Please help me.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Before I suggest something, I need to ask the medication you are undergoing for typhoid. Next, I suggest you consume milk, fruit juices and barley as a recommended diet for typhoid recovery. You need to emphasis on raw or lightly cooked vegetables and fresh fruits. You need to consume a lot of liquid diet. For UTI (urinary tract infection), I suggest an antibacterial wash. It will prevent the growth of bacteria, and many of your symptoms will reduce.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
