Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I feel stressed about small things. I want to finish all my daily tasks within my planned time. When I miss doing them, my mind gets irritated, and I cannot concentrate on my other tasks. I want myself to be perfect, but I cannot be perfect. Every day goes like this, and my mind is not focused on my tasks. My mind thinks only about wasted time. Can I able to train my mind to do all my tasks? If so, how? Do I have any psychiatric disorders? Does this condition require any psychiatric consultation?

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Thank you for your query.

I understand your concern. Thinking and getting stressed will waste your time and energy. Just love your imperfection and try to improve it but do not force yourself. Otherwise, you will be stressed out. Keep an achievable schedule daily. Do not keep over-expectations from yourself. Enjoy life and enjoy your work with passion. Keep learning and do work with interest. But do not exhaust yourself to complete it on time with perfection. Do meditation daily for ten minutes. You do not have a psychiatric illness, but you have personality issues.

I hope this has helped you. Thank you.
