Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

My concern is that my boyfriend ejaculated on me and the semen went through leggings, and I did not wear my underwear. I am in my most fertile days as I was left with five days to get my periods. Can I get pregnant this way? Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern. The chances of you getting pregnant are next to nill. But there are many possible situations like: If the semen entered the vagina? or if the semen meets the ovum. If the semen quantity is more than enough to fertilize the egg or if fertilization occurs. If supposed implementation into the uterus occurs. If you want to be sure after this and to make the chance of getting pregnant nill, I suggest an Unwanted-72 (Levonorgestrel) pill (if you are within 72 hours of sexual activity). I also suggest getting a beta hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) blood test after two weeks to answer all your queries. I hope this helps. Kindly revert in case of further queries. Thank you.
