Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I had unprotected sex with my husband after 2 days of my period. Then, I took an i-pill on the same day. My period stopped the very next day. My period was due now, but it has still not started. I have cramps in my lower belly. From last 2-3 days, I am having smelly watery discharge. Please help.

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have read and understood your problem.

You had sex on third day of your periods, hence chance of pregnancy is nil. Your periods may be late due to i-pill. But, if you have smelly vaginal discharge then you may have infection. You can also do urine pregnancy test.

Thank you.

Patient's Query

Hi,

Thank you, doctor, for your suggestion.

How much delay in my period should I expect due to the i-pill? It is already one week late.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Delay in periods varies from person to person. Periods may be sometimes late up to two to three weeks. You can also do urine pregnancy test.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
