Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have been having a headache and almost fainted for the past three days; the dizziness is still not gone. I just have swollen lymph nodes under my chin which are tender to touch, and it is quite painful when I move them. I am very healthy and active, with no medical history, alcohol, sex, or drugs. Please help.

Hi,

Welcome to the icliniq.com.

Upper respiratory tract infection history should be ruled out here. Posterior pharynx examination and auscultation should be done along with ear infection. Upper respiratory tract infection, otitis, and dental infection can lead to a referred headache. Check your blood pressure and sugar level because hypoglycemia and blood pressure problems can lead to headaches and dizziness. If congestive symptoms are present, then a decongestant can be prescribed. If lymph node enlargement persists, then fine needle aspiration cytology (FNAC) can be done to rule out the nature of the lesion. Consult a physician for examination.

Kindly follow up for further assistance.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
