Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have got a cold and sinus infection about two months ago. Got all healed up with antibiotics. However, my throat still feels off. It does not necessarily hurt. However, it feels like there is always something stuck in my throat kind of feel. I do not have any problem eating or drinking. I have photos I would like to upload. I think I should go see a doctor.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

The pictures you have attached is showing your tonsils which are a part of your body (attachment removed to protect patient identity). Tonsils are immune organs of the body which get infected with upper respiratory tract infections and very common with sinus infections. The antibiotics you have received cures the sinus infection temporarily and also the tonsils infection. Now, I would recommend you to get a CT scan of the paranasal sinus to see infection of paranasal sinuses and to cure it completely. Then we will wait and watch whether your tonsils are causing you a problem in spite of treating your sinus infection. If so, well and good or else we will plan of removing them permanently which is the last option for us. Hence, I would like to get a CT PNS and provide me for further help.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
