Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a female and I suffer from pain in the private part for the last week after urination. I am also having frequent urination and am unable to control the urine. There is also a painful sensation in the pelvic region for the last three days. There is no previous history of pain in this region, no history of any medications for this problem, or any other disease. Please help me with this issue.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have gone through your case and I understand your concern. As per your description, this can either be a urinary tract infection or could be ureteric stone. Is there a sharp, unbearable pain while urination? If yes, then there must be a stone. You should rule out that by doing a USG (ultrasonography) abdomen and pelvis scan. If there is minor pain, itching, or burning micturition, then it could be because of an infection. For that, you should take a proper antibiotic course. Take plenty of water at least three liters per day. It will help you in both conditions. I hope this information helps you. For further queries, you can reconnect.

Thank you.
