Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

My wife is recently pregnant (we have been married for three months). She has an issue with low BP and gastric before pregnancy. Recently we have been to one doctor, and he noticed uterus fibroid. I have a few questions, and please reply.

1) Is it common to have such a big fibroid (3.24x2.78 cm). Will it affect the baby's growth in the womb? If so, then we will go for an abortion.

2) Doctor said it might result in the removal of the uterus. Will my married life be affected? So what can we do about it?

3) She also has low BP and gastric issues before marriage. So she always feels weak. Will she be able to take care of the baby and family in the future?

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I fully understand your concern and will surely help you. I have gone through the details provided by you (attachment removed to protect the patient's identity) and the image/reports shared by you. Please do not worry.

It is not a big fibroid. Fibroids of much bigger size are also found; no need to go for an abortion. Big fibroids are generally considered if more than 5 cm. As well as, there is no need for uterus removal. Weakness is a relative thing, and she may require family support and encouragement and, most importantly, your support to overcome the day-to-day problems. Feel free to ask any questions or to share any additional information.

God bless.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank you for the reply.

But I have not got complete answers from you.

1) Please tell me more about this fibroid and advise if it can be removed naturally by some herbs? And can it come again also?

2) She always has low BP and gastric issues (even before pregnancy), so she always feels weak. Is there any permanent cure for these problems?

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

My first advice to you is to stay positive and happy. Do not be under so much stress. You are fine and nothing to worry about this many problems. And I am coming to the questions.

1) No, it can not be removed using herbs, and yes, it can come back.

2) She will be fine and such things get cured with time. Eat healthily and sleep well.

God bless.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
