What causes a fever, weight loss, appetite loss, and dark urine other than UTI, STDs, and hepatitis?

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have been sick with an unidentified illness for more than two months. Fever, fatigue, severe bloating, vomiting, loss of appetite, noticeable weight loss, frequent urination, dark urine, constant pelvic aches, vaginal discharge, and foul smell in the genitals are my symptoms. I did tests for STDs, UTI, HIV, and Hepatitis, and the results were negative. I believe I may have a large ovarian cyst.

Kindly help.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Thank you for writing, and I understand your concern.

You might have UTI (urinary tract infection) as dark-colored urine is seen mainly in a urinary tract infection. Chances of infection are high in your case as you have vaginal discharge and weight loss. So, I suggest you do a urine routine test, microscopic examination, abdominal ultrasound, and complete blood count. Kindly send me the reports to prescribe the medicine accordingly.

As you mentioned that you already did a urine test and there was no infection, please send me the reports of that urine test because I am still suspecting UTI.

Thanks.

The Probable causes

Infection.
