Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have rashes near the vulva and inside the vulva. It causes a burning and itching sensation.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Do not worry; I will help you with your concern. From history, this itching and burning could be due to fungal infection or trichomoniasis. I need to ask you a few questions. Since when do you have this? Do you have any discharge from the vagina? If yes, is it whitish or greenish? Do you have a burning sensation on urination? Please revert with answers so I can provide you definitive diagnosis and treatment accordingly. Thanks and regards.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank you for the response. This is going on for years now. I have used Itch guard, Itch Heal, Candid powder, and Nycil herbal cool powder till now, and I also have tried Clotrimazole cream once. I have an extreme burning sensation during the application, and it goes off after three to four minutes. Everything is fine till the cream is in that area. The problem appears again the next day. While this itching is prevalent throughout, it disturbs me slightly less during the day (because I am engaged in some of the other work) but is tough to handle during sleep. I have a burning sensation while I pee too. There is no discharge.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

It does sound like vaginal candidiasis with a urinary tract infection. You can try, take tablet Fluconazole 150 mg, only one single tablet for one day, Candid V pessary (Clotrimazole), keep one pessary inside the vagina at night on alternate days for one week, Betadine vaginal pessaries (Povidone-iodine) keep one tablet inside the vagina at night on alternate days for one week, and Cital syrup (Disodium Hydrogen Citrate) drink one tablespoon two times daily for one week. Do not use Itch guard and any creams. Please get back to me in one week. Thanks and regards.

Patient's Query

Should I use both the tablets vaginally on the same night? And should I apply any cream in the rashes? I can't stand the itching sensation through out (offlate, I see some mild white discharge when I scratch)

Ohh then don't apply betadine cream. Apply only candid vaginal pessary. If you don't candid pessary then but candid cream Candid cream - apply once daily at night for 3 weeks Don't worry it will resolve Thanks

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
