Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

As women, we also have a water discharge after sex. But after my delivery, I lost this thing now. I do not discharge anything. Is it normal?

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Vaginal secretions are exudate from vaginal wall secreted in response to different local, hormonal or emotional events. Few women have excessive secretions genetically and sometimes happen without sex, orgasm, ovulation, fertilization or implantation. But sometimes stress, childbirth, illness, mood variations can reduce sex desires and that causes reduce secretions, in old age after stopping menses woman can experience dry vagina. After childbirth, maybe you are not that much emotionally involved as previous but post-delivery anatomy and many hormonal variations could affect too. So, better to work on it. Have proper dressing, recreational activities, nice perfume, beautiful environment, light music to have a nice mood and proper orgasm before sex. You can use lubricant as well if unable to get secretions. Have complete check and treatment of any health issue you have. Have a better physical and mental health. I hope things would be better.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
