Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Since I was around ten years of age, I have had bumps on my vagina. Now that I am almost 15 years old, I started shaving and getting razor bumps on my vagina. For the past few months, I have had this lump on my left vagina lip on the top part and not inside the lips but outside where the hair is present. I have had a lump in that same spot before. The lump comes and goes. It also pops and leaks whenever it is inflamed. And when it gets inflamed, most of my vagina lip becomes swollen. Also, there is a tiny bump on the inner side of the left vaginal lip. I do not know what it means. Also, on the right vaginal lip, there is one bump that seems tender. I just want to know what this is? I had sex a year back, and these bumps are present even before that. I also have white discharges, and I am not sure if it is thick or thin. I have a history of sexual abuse that happened a few years back. I tested for infections, and the results came negative. I am very anxious.

Please help me with this condition.

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I can understand your concern.

It seems like you have hair folliculitis, which is causing the problem. Avoid razors and wear cotton inners and loose lowers. Maintain personal hygiene and take plenty of fluids. Wash your private parts with regular tap water every time you use the washroom. Avoid having sex till it subsides. Avoid using vaginal douches and creams.

Take care.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
