Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a 21 years old male. How can I gain weight with a vegetarian diet?

Kindly advise.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

You have not mentioned your weight at present and other histories. Anyway, I can give you some advise here with the idea you have given about yourself. Soy protein is one of the number one protein sources available. Milk with dates is good for improving weight. Take wheat grass juice alternate days for a month to detoxify your body. Sprouts and leafy vegetables can be included in your diet, especially broccoli, cauliflower, brussels sprout, potato, sweet potato, etc. can be included in your diet.

With an empty stomach in the morning, drink any one alkaline juice (wheatgrass Juice, ash gourd Juice, potato Juice, or lauki Juice). Have whole grain wheat products and soy milk for breakfast. Take omega 3 fatty acid in the form of flax seed oil. Nuts such as almonds, cashew, sprouted or fried peanuts, and dates with milk, etc., can be taken in snacks. Whey Protein is also good for improving weight. Soy protein 10 grams to 20 grams (depending on your weight, for example, 1 gram per Kilogram per body weight) can be taken. Whey protein can also be taken in the same quantity. Add vitamin B complex along with your meal.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any queries.
