Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I drank this prepared mixture a year ago (coffee, tea, sugar, tulsi, Indian spices, and water. I heat it more than eight times a week). After two to three months, I suffered from a viral infection, and l was admitted to the hospital. I asked my doctor if it was due to this preparation they said no. They tested me for dengue - the report is negative.

What do you think is it due to this preparation?

After the viral infection, l suffered from loose clothes leaving an imprint on my skin. Likewise, slippers and socks leave imprints on my feet. Red-colored impressions remain on my hand when the mobile phone is held. The body's veins are visible on the soles of the feet, palms, hands, and thighs. The eye on my right side is painful sometimes. My skin is becoming thin all over my body. Last year I was treated in a local hospital for a viral infection. With the viral infection, I experienced: fever, headache, vomiting, and red palms.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern. It is not due to that preparation but due to the infection and vitamin deficiencies; such symptoms can be seen.

So I suggest you stop drinking that mixture and consume more fruits and green vegetables.

Drink juice at least once a day.

Take a tablet Multivitamin one tablet before sleeping for 14 days, and everything will be fine.

If it has disturbed your digestive system, do a liver function test once and send me the reports. I will check and let you know.

Apart from that everything is fine. So do not worry.

Thank you.

Patient's Query

Hello,

Thank you, doctor. I drink that mixture for only one day and two scoops, but if the mixture (containing water, sugar, coffee, and tea extract) is stored in plastic bottles for 8 to 10 days, can virus or bacteria grow in it?

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

If you have stored the mixture in plastic bottles for 8 to 10 days, that would have caused problems. Without preservatives, we cannot keep food items for longer than one to two days. So yes, there are chances of growing bacterial or viral infections. But do not worry, it can be treated with medicine.

Did you store it in the refrigerator or in-room?

Please let me know.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
