Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Since yesterday I vomit after the meal. In my last checkup, I was told I am anemic and also have high blood pressure. For almost two weeks now, I have had difficulty sleeping. I sleep less than six hours. I have not taken any medications except for Kremil-S and Biogesic. Kindly help me.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand that your current problem is that you are vomiting after a meal. I understand that you have a history of hypertension and anemia, and you have reduced sleep for two weeks.

You have not mentioned if you are on any medicines for your blood pressure or anemia. What was the cause of your anemia? Your vomiting may be due to acute gastritis, for which you will have to take stronger antacids and anti-emetic medicines like Pantoprazole and Domperidone.

Pregnancy is to be considered if you are not menopausal. Uncontrolled hypertension and anemia can be a sign of kidney failure and can cause gastritis by uremia, and these have to be checked. Your lack of sleep appears to be due to anxiety about uncontrolled anemia, hypertension, or other stress. If you are unable to visit a physician, please get yourself a blood pressure monitor that you can check on your own.

I, therefore, advise you to take the antacids and anti-emetic, check your blood pressure and get a physician consult to rule out any kidney problems.

I hope this was helpful.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
