Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Unable to decide due to mind wavering. Need to shift a house from one place o another place, however since I got used to the present home for 3.5 years, I do not feel like moving. Have fear in my mind on how will it be. Whether I will get set to this new place, etc. Hence due to this unable to decide whether I should move or not and has been thinking it for the past two weeks all the time.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I can understand your predicament. A wavering mind can be a sign of anxiety in this context. Have you always been a worrier, or is it something new? Moving houses is known to be a stressful event in one's life. Many people face the same stress in such situations. It is natural to be somewhat anxious about leaving the comfort of a known place and moving to a new house. But with some reasoning and support, you should be able to come to a conclusion and move forward.Did you discuss with your family or friend about the pros and cons of shifting? It can be easier to make a joint decision if you are struggling on your own. Once you decide to shift, go ahead. Accept that you will feel anxious for some time but should settle in due course once you become familiar with the new place. Try relaxation strategies. Practice deep breathing. Exercise regularly. Talk to trusted people. If anxiety about uncertainty is affecting your life significantly, you can also consider therapy and counseling. I hope this helps.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
